From 24th to 26th July 2026, the region around Obertrum am See will be in triathlon fever again. The Trumer Triathlon is known for its beautiful track in the hilly Salzburg Lake District and the great atmosphere along the track.
8 different races to choose from, a triathlon festival for the whole family. No matter if rookie or professional – in Obertrum you will find everything an athlete's heart could wish for! Get to know the region of „Salzburger Seenland“ from its sporty side.
Lake crossing 3k and 1,4k
Friday offers a gentle warm-up for the triathlon weekend. In the two Seecrossing competitions, the aim is to cross Lake Obertrumer, the short distance is 1.4km from Matzing, the long distance is 3km from Seeham. Both competitions impress with a beautiful scenery.
Kids Triathlon, Fun and sprinttriathlon and Charity Run
On the second day of the competition, four exciting competitions are on the program. Saturday morning is reserved for the young triathletes with the Kids Triathlon presented by Generali. In the afternoon it will be the adults' turn with the Funtriathlon presented by Raiffeisen and the Sprinttriathlon presented by Trumer Freispiel. The conclusion of the second day of competition is the MeinBezirk.at Charity Run presented by Raiffeisen.

The Trumer Village offers an extensive side program for all participants and visitors. Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to Sunday 5:00 p.m. you can stroll through our expo, let yourself be spoiled with culinary delights and follow the events on the route on the big screen at the market square (only on Sunday).
The Trumer Triathlon Party with a live band takes place on Saturday evening, entry is free!
Kids Triathlon presented by Generali
The Kids Triathlon presented by Generali is one of the few complete triathlons for children and offers young triathletes the opportunity to complete their first competitions. The distances depend on age.
funtriathlon presented by Raiffeisen
The Funtriathlon presented by Raiffeisen offers with its short distances over 250 m swimming, 12.5 km biking and 2.5 km running the perfect entrance to the triathlon sport.
Sprinttriathlon presented by trumer freispiel
The Sprinttriathlon presented by Trumer Freispiel with 750 m swimming, 25.4 km biking and 5.2 km running is one of the most popular competitions at the Trumer Triathlon weekend (also possible as a relay team).
MEINBEZIRK.AT CHARITY RUN PRESENTED BY RAIFFEISEN
At the MeinBezirk.at Charity Run presented by Raiffeisen, you run a 1 km route through the center of Obertrum. You have 30 minutes, how many laps can you do? A donation goes into the donation pot for every registration and for every kilometer run. In addition, the donation amount will be increased by Raiffeisen Salzburg.
Olympic and Half distance, Aquabike
The Trumer Triathlon ends with its final - the two supreme distances over the Olympic and Half distance. That are definitely the biggest challenges during this triathlon festival at Salzburger Seenland! Enjoy finishing at one of the most selective and also the most beautiful triathlon competitions in europe! With aquabike we now offer a new competition.

A special challenge, which is very famous for triathlon athletes - the Olympic Distance with 1.5 km swimming, 41.8 km biking and 10 km running.
half distance
The Half Distance presented by PURE Encapsulations® is the classic and most favouring discipline for professional triathlon athletes at the Trumer Triathlon. Your Challenge: 1.9 km swimming, 88.5 km biking and 21.1 km running (also possible as a relay team).
aquabike
The aquabike competition will take place once in 2025 as part of the Trumer Triathlon. You can expect 1.9 km of swimming and 88.5 km of cycling. The Ö(ST)M is held through this competition! The finish is directly in front of the transition zone.

For those who want more we have the Trumer Triple - a special challenge consisting of Lake Crossing, Sprinttriathlon and Half Distance during one week-end!
For those who want to "start slowly" but still want to do three but shorter competitions, the Trumer Triple light is perfect. You experience the special Trumer feeling with the competitions: Lake Crossing light, Funtriathlon and Olympic Distance.
